Looking back I had always carried a camera with me, documenting everything around me. However, it wasn't until my freshman year of college when I took a Photography class that I knew this is what I had to do with my life. My dad gave me my first SLR camera for the class, it was a Canon AE-1, and it was always by my side. That first photography class lit a fire and next thing I knew I was graduating from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.

Since then photography has been a large part of my life. I have always photographed on a professional level part time and it has taken me all across the country. I have been fortunate enough to work alongside some talented photographers in some amazing locations. All of this was amazing, but I always dreamed about being able to do this full time. So, with the love and support of my fiancé, friends, and family I quit my day job to pursue my dream of being a full time photographer.

I am incredibly blessed and feel very fortunate to be able to follow my heart and my dreams.

My photographic style is loose and in the moment. For me, photography is about expression and connection, which is why photographing people has always been my favorite! While I take my job very seriously, I like to have fun while doing what I love. I'm playful, dorky, and I laugh at everything. We may start as strangers at the beginning of the session, but my hope is by the end we leave as friends.
