Hi, I'm Jess!

I'm passionate about building beautiful user experiences that make everyday workflows feel effortless. And I don't just mean that professionally, I've lived it.

For seven years, I ran a mountain guide service in the Eastern Sierra, juggling customers, trip logistics, and staff firsthand. I know the chaos that comes with managing reservations, and I know how much the right software can change things. That experience led me to start training others, people just like me, on how to get the most out of their tools. Eventually, it inspired me to start building those tools myself.

Now I get to bring all of that real-world perspective into every design decision I make, creating software that's both functional and intuitive because I've been the person who needed it most.

My process is rooted in customer research. I believe the best roadmaps are built on real insights, not assumptions, which is why every feature I champion is tied to user behavior, measurable ROI, and meaningful outcomes.

What sets me apart is the full-circle perspective I bring to every product decision. I've been on every side of travel software, as the customer relying on it daily, as the trainer teaching others how to use it, and now as the person building it. I've felt the friction firsthand, and that lived experience drives my passion for turning everyday tasks into experiences that are not just functional but genuinely enjoyable.

From building scalable design systems to launching features that tripled average cart value, I bring both strategic thinking and hands-on craft to every stage of the product lifecycle, working closely with Engineering, Support, and Onboarding to ensure great ideas actually make it across the finish line.

When I'm not in front of a screen, you'll find me outside, hiking, trail running, rock climbing, skiing, or chasing mountain light with my camera. I also volunteer with my local Search and Rescue team, which keeps life in perspective in the best way.

Once I've worn myself out, I come home to watercolors, a little trashy TV, and my tuxedo cat, Finn, the true love of my life.
